The Estadio El Sadar is in the Spanish city of Pamplona, capital of Navarre, located soccer stadium. The stadium has seating for 19,800 spectators. It is home to the Spanish side CA Osasuna.
History
The El Sadar was opened on 2 September 1967. The first major renovation took place in 1989, when the new grandstand was built. In December 2005 the club CA Osasuna signed a sponsorship agreement with the regional government of Navarra. The stadium was named for six years Reyno de Navarra ( German Kingdom of Navarre ), in line with the regional tourism slogan. In return, the club received € 1.5 million per year. Osasuna was the first Spanish football club, which changed the name of its stadium because of a sponsor contract. Since 2012, the stadium bears his old name again.
