History

The newspaper El Tiempo was founded on January 30, 1911 by Alfonso Villegas Restrepo and Eduardo Santos Montejo 1913 sold to, who led this as the owner and manager until 1976. The newspaper was made ​​up to the 130th edition in tabloid format and only then changed to the standard newspaper size.
