Eldar Ryazanov
Eldar Ryazanov Alexandrovich (Russian Эльдар Александрович Рязанов, scientific transliteration Ėl'dar Aleksandrovich Ryazanov, born November 18, 1927 in Samara ) is a Russian film director.
Life
Eldar Ryazanov was born on November 18, 1927 in Samara. He attended the Faculty Director of the State Cinematography Institute of the Soviet Union ( Wsesojusnyj Gosudarstwennyj Institute Kinematografii ). After graduating, he worked at the Central Documentary Film Studio ( Central Well Studija Dokumentalnych filmów ) and made numerous documentary and landscape films, including the film "The Island of Sakhalin " ( " Ostrov Sakhalin " ), which was awarded in 1955 in Cannes. Besides his work as a director, he is also a writer, lyricist, writer and television presenter. In the Soviet Union and its successor states he is through his popular movie comedies that show a satirical view of the Soviet or Russian daily life, become known.
