Electra (star)

Elektra is the proper name of the located in the Pleiades star 17 Tauri.

Elektra has an apparent magnitude of 3.70 mag and belongs to the spectral class B6III. The star is a roughly 400 light years distant from the Sun Be star.

Elektra, as all the stars of the Pleiades by the Moon, and occasionally ( very rare! ) Are also covered by the planet. The last eclipse of Elektra by a planet took place on May 9, 1841 Venus.
