Electronic Markets - The International Journal on Networked Business is a quarterly double-blinded examined are scientific journal in the field of computer science and economics of e-commerce.

History

The publication " Electronic Markets " was first published in 1991 as a free newsletter of the Competence Center Electronic Markets, University of St. Gallen. Successive was a change from purely German to English-only contributions. Since 1997, she appears as a journal in the regular quarterly cycle, since January 1999, Routledge (Taylor & Francis ). Since then, the magazine is chargeable to subscribe and a double - blind peer -review process was introduced.

The magazine ranking VHB- JOUR QUAL (2008) classifies Electronic Markets in the category C; Ranking in part economic computer science / information management, it ranks 31st place, in part Electronic Commerce ranking the 4th Place. The magazine ranking of the British Association of Business Schools ( 2010) classifies it into the lower category 1.
