Electronic-Sell-Through

Electronic sell -through (EST ) describes an Electronic Media / Networks acquired, perpetual right to use video content. Are sold via this form especially movies and series. Mostly associated with the acquisition EST via a download of the Filmaterials. You can choose between:

• DTO = Download to Own and
• DTB = Download to Burn

Be distinguished. The license is offered via EST usually cheaper than the comparable DVD. EST is a sub-form of video on demand ( VOD). Other VOD forms which do not fall within the definition of EST, DTR = Download to Rent, here, the buyer / user the right to use only for a finite period of about 24 or 48 hours, or streaming services.
