In the trades are:

  • Director of Advertising (craft)
  • Electronics engineers - Energy and Building
  • Electrician, the predecessor of the professional electronics engineer - energy and building
  • Electronics - information and telecommunications technology
  • Information electronics - Device and System Technology
  • Information electronics - Office Systems Technology
  • IT systems engineer

And in industry:

  • Director of Advertising Sales (industry)
  • Director of Business Development
  • Electronics technician for devices and systems
  • Electronics engineer for motors and drive technology
  • Electronics for aviation systems
  • Electronics engineer for building and infrastructure systems

And indirectly also

  • Systeminformatiker

Because based on the same Regulation.

All of these occupations have in common is that they are three and a half year and specialization in the second year of training begins. Consequently, the first year is the same.

Electronics engineers are trained in teaching and visit during the training, the vocational school.

Previously, the profession was simply called " electronics ", where between level G ( basic requirements) and E was distinguished (extended requirements (E)).

More previous designation:

  • Telecommunications, electrical and appliance installer (abbreviated FEAM, Switzerland, training set )
  • Electronics assemblers ( Switzerland, training set )

The end of the training

The training lasts four years. Electronics engineers are trained in teaching and visit during the training, the vocational school. As more teaching places still industry courses will be added in the first half of teaching. These courses consist of at least 36 and not more than 64 days, one day will be 8 hours.

Practical training

During the first half of teaching a broad foundation is laid on knowledge and skills in basic training. The focus is on computing, dimensioning, Installation and measuring electronic circuits, documenting the work, Installation and wiring of equipment, assembly and soldering of printed circuit boards as well as commissioning and troubleshooting. In addition, it is taught how to microcomputer systems and programs (firmware ) is written and tested. Furthermore, the training, depending on the vocational school, the areas of PLC and robot programming included.

The basic training is completed with the partial test in the areas, production engineering, electrical and instrumentation and microcontrollers.

In the second half of the teaching focus training follows in activity areas of operation. In this phase of training, the trainees deepen their knowledge and skills through exemplary learning to productive jobs and projects.
