Eleonora Rossi Drago

Eleonora Rossi Drago (actually Palmira Omiccioli, born September 23, 1925 in Genoa, † December 2, 2007 in Palermo) was an Italian film actress.

Biography

Rossi Drago, who made her acting debut at the age of 24 years in Mario Sequis film Altura, starred in over 60 feature films 1949-1970. She was known primarily in Italy, France and Spain.

Her major film credits include The Pirates of the Caribbean (1949 ) David and Goliath (1960 ), Uncle Tom's Cabin (1965 ), The Bible (1966) and The Picture of Dorian Gray ( 1970). A German production, in which she starred, was Harald Reinl thriller The Carpet of Horror (1962).

After her 1971 for the withdrawal from active acting, she married two years later the President of the Sicilian Industry Association, Domenico La Cavera ( 1915-2011 ).
