Elga Brink
Elga Brink, born Margarete Elisabeth Frey ( born April 2, 1905 in Berlin- Waidmannslust; † 28 October 1985 in Hamburg) was a German actress.
Life
Elga Brink attended a trade school and came at the beginning of the 1920s to the film. The slender blonde actress starred in many silent films as perky girl. Especially often it came in productions directed by Georg Jacoby to train whose girlfriend or wife she was some time. In 1930 she embodied Goethe's mistress Friederike Brion in the film The Teenage lovers. During the 1930s and 1940s it became more and more into the background.
After the Second World War she tried briefly as a stage actress who went on again in two films and retired after 1951 from the public. When Elizabeth Biermann since she lived in Hamburg, where she worked as a clerk in a law firm.
