Eli Thompson (skydiver)

Eli Thompson ( born July 11, 1973, † 28 August 2009 Lauterbrunnen, Switzerland ) was an American parachute and object Springer.

Thompson graduated over 15,000 jumps. He was from 1996 to 2000 a member of the world champion skydiver teams Flyboyz. Thompson also presented 30 episodes of the TV show Stunt Junkies on the Discovery Channel (USA), he also worked as a stuntman, among other things, for the film Austin Powers in Goldmember.

On 28 August 2009, during the filming of a promotional film of Red Bull, Thompson was killed: In a wingsuit jump in Lauterbrunnen object he touched the rock wall and plunged into the depths.

Thompson left his pregnant wife and two children.
