Elia del Medigo

Elijah ben Moses Abba Delmedigo also known as Helias cretensis (* 1460 in Candia, † 1497 ) was a Jewish philosopher of religion.

Life and work

The Ashkenazic family Delmedigo emigrated from Germany to Crete.

Delmedigo Pico della Mirandola was friends with. His main work is Bechinat ha - Dat ( " Test of Faith ").
