Elimination races

The elimination driving is a discipline of cycling track.

The excretion driving was fought over many years almost exclusively in Six Days. From 2011 onwards it belongs as part of the program Omniums the UCI Track World Championships and in this form from 2012 to the program of the Olympic Games.

The excretion driving begins with a common start of all the riders. At intervals - every two rounds at path lengths of 333,333 meters and less, each round with longer paths - is ruled out by the most recent driver; the decisive factor is the rear wheel. A round win is not counted, but a round residue.
