Elita 5

Elita 5 is an Albanian pop- rock band from the Macedonian city of Tetovo.

The band was founded in the 1990s in Tetovo and attained through songs like Bardh e Zi, Al Kapone, Faleminderit Sajzeza and great glory. During the nineties was Elita 5 as well as other pop-rock bands from Kosovo the most successful band and group of artists in the Albanian music scene, with lyrics that were learned by heart by many young people.

Since the last song Çmendem from 2007, but already since the last album Bardh e Zi 2004, the band slowly lost its importance and sank a bit into oblivion. Not least by the Albanian newcomers, especially in the R & B and Dance like Dafina Zeqiri, Elvana Gjata, Altuna Sejdiu, Flori Mumajesi and others which ousted the ' nineties performer ", including next to Elita 5 especially Trix, Fisnikët, Genta Ismajli and Adelina Ismajli included.

The band also touched on elements of the blues and R & B in their songs.

The band members include the singer Arif Zyberi, guitarist Mevaip Mustafi, the drummer Besim Ibraimi, bassist Agron Idrizi and the producer, songwriter and founder Nexhat Mujovi, which is also known as a "virus".

Elita 5 owes its success mainly to the three main albums. In recent years, especially singles are incurred, 2007 Çmendem ( I'm going crazy ), 2011 Nuk jam dictator (I'm not a dictator ) and 2012 Dëgjo ( Listen to ).

In 2013, the new album will be released, the last Bardh e Zi, was published in 2004.

Born in the band's inception daughter of Nexhat Mujovi, also known as "Virus", Elita was baptized. From this name, and the number of band members then the name of the band resulted Elita 5
