Elite League (speedway)
The Elite League is the highest class in the British Speedway Sports. About them the British team champion will be determined. The league consists of nine teams that will compete, as in the Speedway Premier League, in a direct comparison against each other. Each team moves against each other once each abroad and at home. For a home win gets a team two points for an away win and three points for a draw one point.
The Elite League was introduced in 1997.
