Elitloppet

The Elitloppet (Elite race ) is a group 1 harness racing is held each year on the racetrack in Solvalla, Stockholm, Sweden since 1952. It is one of the most prestigious trotting race in the world. It is an invitational race, held in the first two qualifying rounds and the finals will be held on the same day. The qualifying races and the final result over a distance of 1,609 meters (1 mile), which is why the Elitloppet is also referred to as the unofficial Sprint World Cup scrapie.
