Eliud Williams

Eliud Williams Thaddeus ( born August 21, 1948) is a politician and dominicanischer was 2012-2013 President of Dominica in the footsteps of Nicholas Liverpool.

Life

Eliud William graduated from a business degree from the University of the West Indies in 1995 with the master exam. From 1985 to 1987 he worked in the private sector and was followed by 2004 in public administration operates. In 2004 he became head of the Eastern Caribbean Telecommunications Authority, an office which he held until 2008.

After the resignation of Nicholas Liverpool for health reasons was set up as a candidate for the presidential election Eliud Williams of the Dominica Labour Party. He was elected by Parliament on 18 September 2012. His election was boycotted by the opposition United Workers Party, as they held the election is not constitutional.

In the presidential election on September 30, 2013, which was again boycotted by the opposition, was elected Charles Savarin ( also Dominica Labour Party ) as Williams' successor.
