Eliza Doolittle (singer)

Eliza Doolittle ( born April 15, 1988 in Westminster, London; Eliza Sophie Caird actually ) is a British singer-songwriter and former child actress. Her stage name refers to the figure of a poor flower girl from the musical My Fair Lady.

Career

Caird was born as a daughter of the theater director John Caird and musical actress Frances Ruffelle. She attended North London the Channing School for Girls in Highgate Village. First stage performances she had with the Royal Shakespeare Company in the adaptations of the musicals Les Miserables (1996) and The Secret Garden ( 2000).

End of November 2009, she published under the title of Eliza Doolittle, a first EP. In April 2010, their debut single Skinny Genes, by which it reached the Top 30 on the British charts appeared. The recording was also used in a commercial very.co.uk of the British clothing retail company. On 12 July 2010 she released her first album.

Their second album, In Your Hands was released in October 2013.

She was from 2011 with Benji Madden dating to 2012 from the band Good Charlotte.
