Elizabeth Chadwick

Elizabeth Chadwick ( b. 1957 ) is a British best-selling author of historical novels.

Elizabeth Chadwick started at the age of 15 years to write historical novels. Years later, in 1990, after she was already married and had two sons born, her first novel, The Wild Hunt, was adopted by the Penguin Publishing Group for publication. A year later won the The Wild Hunt Betty Trask Award, a prize for young writers below 35 years, which was presented to her by Prince Charles. In 1994 her novel First Knight with Sean Connery and Richard Gere was filmed.

Meanwhile, Chadwick wrote 13 historical novels, all of which play in the Middle Ages. Many of her novels reached the pick list of the Romantic Novelist 's Award. The Historical Novel Society in the UK described it as the current best author of medieval novels.
