Elkan Nathan Adler
Elkan Nathan Adler ( born July 24, 1861 in London, † September 15, 1946 ) was a British jurist and scientific traveler.
Adler was born into a Jewish family. He is best known as a collector of Hebraica and Judaica. He was anti-Zionist and had set in 1898, designed in collaboration with Samuel Montagu and others, a manifesto against Herzl's project of establishing a Jewish Colonial Trust, while Moses Gaster became involved for the bank, which came in the same year.
Elkan Adler was the half-brother of Hermann Adler.
