Elke Gebhardt

Elke Gebhardt ( born July 22, 1983 in Freiburg im Breisgau ) is a German racing driver who has been active in track and road.

1993 Elke Gebhardt began with the power cycling. After she was already successful as a youth and junior, she was second in the 2002 Deutsche Bahn Championships the elite in the points race; 2005 and 2009 they won the championship in the same discipline in 2006 and 2008, she was third. In 2007 she won the European Championships in Cottbus in Omnium bronze. In 2008 she won the UCI Track Cycling World Cup 2007/2008 in Copenhagen in the team sprint with Verena Jooss and Alexandra Sontheimer. 2010 it belongs to the German squad for the Track World Championships in Copenhagen.

Elke Gebhardt is also successful in road racing. She took good seats at the Tour of Qatar 2010 and the Giro della Toscana Femminile - Memorial Michela Fanini.

Elke Gebhardt goes for the RSG Eichstetten. In 2002, she completed her high school, then trained as a sports and fitness clerk. Since 2007 she is member of a sports promotion group of the police.
