Ellen Roosevelt

Ellen Crosby Roosevelt ( born August 20, 1868 in Rosendale, New York, † September 26, 1954 in Hyde Park, New York) was an American tennis player.

She won in 1890 at the U.S. Tennis Championships, both the women's singles and together with her sister Grace Roosevelt, the women's doubles. In 1893 she was mixed successfully with Clarence Hobart.

Ellen Roosevelt was a cousin of U.S. President Franklin Delano Roosevelt.

In 1975, she was inducted into the Hall of Fame of tennis.
