Ellie Kemper

Elizabeth Claire Kemper ( born May 2, 1980 in Kansas City, Missouri ) is an American actress.

Life

Elizabeth Claire Kemper was born the second of four children of Dorothy Ann and David Woods Kemper Jannarone. It comes from the the banker William Thornton Kemper family, Sr. ( 1866-1938 ). She is German and Italian descent. Her younger sister is the writer Carrie Kemper. She grew up in St. Louis and studied after the John Burroughs School visited at Princeton University, where she became interested in acting and improvisation comedy. In early July 2012, she married her longtime partner in New York.

In the U.S. comedy series The Office Since 2009 she played the role of Kelly Erin Hannon. It also followed supporting roles in comedies like Get Him, Bridesmaids and 21 Jump Street.
