Elliott Quow

Elliott Quow ( born March 3, 1962) is a retired American sprinter.

Quow specialized in the 200 -meter run. Over this distance, he won at the World Athletics Championships 1983 in Helsinki the silver medal in 20.41 s behind his compatriot Calvin Smith ( 20.14 s ) and before the Italian Pietro Mennea ( 20.51 s ). In addition Quow won in the same year at the Pan American Games in Caracas and was at the Universiade in Edmonton behind Innocent Egbunike second. Quow attended Rutgers University.
