Elman FC

Elman FC is a Somali football club based in Mogadishu. The club is one of the most successful football clubs in Somalia and is currently with nine championships record champions. (As of February 4, 2014 )

History

Elman FC was founded in 1993 by Ealman Ali Ahmed; they celebrated their first success just under a year later, when they were able to Somalia Cup win. In 1998, they celebrated their first league title since they were almost continuously champions, from 2000 up to and including the year 2003, they were four times in a row champion. Her biggest rival is Banadir SC who could win the most championships after the Elman FC ( four times ). Since 1998, the two clubs play the championship from among themselves. The club has many fans across the country because of its success. Many players of the team are also part of the national team of Somalia.
