Elmer George

Elmer George ( born July 15, 1928 in Ville stool, † May 30 1976 in Terre Haute ) was an American race car driver.

Elmer George started once in his career in a race for the world championship of Formula 1 It started on May 30, 1957 at the 500 miles of Indianapolis - this race was one between 1950 and 1960 for the World Cup - and went from ninth position in the race. However, he separated already in the first round on a Kurtis Kraft - Offenhauser 500 after an accident.
