ELO Part II

ELO Part II was a British music band from the 1990s.

The band was founded by Bev Bevan, a former member of the music group Electric Light Orchestra. After its dissolution in 1987 they tried to enter the ELO fans to a " new home ". After a lengthy legal dispute formed ELO drummer Bev Bevan 1990/1991 without Jeff Lynne Electric Light Orchestra Part II ( self-titled album in 1991 ), short ELO Part II, with modest success.

With Moment Of Truth ELO Part II released another album in 1994, but again failed to materialize the great success. Bev Bevan in 1999 sold its 50 - % share of the ELO name to Jeff Lynne. Thus, ELO Part II had to rename without ELO founding member Bev Bevan in The Orchestra.

ELO Part II was between 1991 and 1999 throughout the world on tour and performed in part with renowned classical orchestras. For these tours results in two live albums.

In the band's history there have been numerous line-up changes. As Bev Bevan in 1999 left the band following members were present: Mik Kaminski, Louis Clark, Kelly Groucutt, Eric Troyer, Parthenon Huxley. For Bev Bevan already jumped just before the band renamed as The Orchestra as a percussionist Gordon Townsend.

Previously were also musicians temporarily from ELO Part II here: Neil Lockwood, Phil Bates, Pete Haycock, Hugh McDowell (the latter only in some live concerts ).
