Elrad (magazine)

Elrad - magazine for electronics and computer engineering application - was a popular trade magazine for electronics in the professional and hobby area. It was published from November 1977 to August 1998.

History

Elrad appeared from November 1977 to June 1997 in the Heise Verlag. From 1983, the magazine c't Elrad went out, the first under the title "computing today" was published as a supplement to Elrad.

In 1992, the magazine The electronics had already risen in Elrad.

In mid-1997 the title was sold to the breaking Verlag GmbH. Under the new roof initially delayed the delivery of the first new edition and also the quality of content abated. The break -Verlag man was able to continue the magazine only to August in 1998 and was forced to declare bankruptcy after.

The Heise publishing house holds the domain elrad.de and since 2001 also a brand entry " ELRAD magazine for electronics and technical computer applications " at the German Patent and Trademark Office. The end of 2005 two DVDs appeared with the contents of the booklets 11/1977-06/1997 as well as numerous special issues.
