Elvis: That's the Way It Is

Elvis - That's the Way It Is is the title of a film documentary about a concert series that gave Elvis Presley in August 1970 in Las Vegas.

Content

The film is divided into two portions of content. In the first part of the film is a half hour insight into the sample, first in Los Angeles, then in Las Vegas. Then for an hour pieces from the first six concerts of the Las Vegas guest performance are shown. The mood of the sample appears to have been loose and Presley was visibly happy to make music again. He wears normal clothes and unkempt hair typical of its period.

Presley appears to be at the peak of his artistic career as a live entertainer. He presents old and new songs that ranged from early rock 'n ' roll hits on worn ballads. The songs are played faster than they were recorded in the studio, and Presley shows his typical stage show with circling hips and karate inserts.

Again and again, the audience is shown, where many celebrities, including Cary Grant, Sammy Davis Jr. and George Hamilton were sitting. Just the ecstatic reaction of the female audience shows that Presley despite the years in Hollywood, where he gave no concerts, nothing had lost any of its impact on the live audience.
