The Seal of Algeria was introduced in this form in 1976.
In the middle of this seal is the Hand of Fatima, surrounded by three ears of corn. Underneath, in red, the symbol of Islam, crescent and star. Behind the hand of the Atlas Mountains is shown, behind which the sun rises. Right and left hand are a factory and plants. Surrounded the seal is from the state name in Arabic script.
