Coat of arms during the Portuguese colonial era

Since 1935, the colony had its own coat of arms which was matched in design to those of the other colonies. In addition to the common elements of the five Quinas and the five green waves on silver, Macao had on a blue background a golden dragon, who gave a more Quina. The example shown here is the small coat of arms with banner and brick crown with five towers, the symbol of a capital an overseas province.
