Emblem of the Tajik Soviet Socialist Republic

The coat of arms of the Tajik SSR, there were 1940 to 1990, during the period of existence of the Tajik SSR as a constituent republic of the Soviet Union.

The coat of arms has a nearly circular outline. In the center is a red star, which is supposed to represent the membership of the communism and the hand of the liberated people of the classless society. On this star are in gold to see the hammer and sickle, which are symbolic of the communist state policy.

Right is the coat of arms surrounded by a white- green cotton plant and left of golden wheat ears.

The coat of arms is covered in the lower part by a red ribbon, the center in Cyrillic with РСС Тоҷикистон ( Tajik ) and below Таджикская РСС (Russian) is provided.

The full forms Республикаи Советии Социалистии Тоҷикистон or Таджикская Советская Социалистическая Республика denominated in German " Tajik Soviet Socialist Republic ".
