Embu is a town in Brazil. It is located next to São Paulo. Embu is due to the many artisans as " Embu das Artes " ( Embu of the Arts ) is known. Mayor of Embu since 2000 Geraldo Cruz. The town extends over 70 km ² and had 245 866 inhabitants in 2006.
