In other countries, they are also available with different color, for example, equipped with red or yellow and blue rotating lights and a siren, for example in Asia and North America.

The vehicle itself is equipped and furnished according to the use by the respective emergency response organization. This can be a normal car or truck. However, it can be quite specially equipped for the emergency services, fire services, civil defense or the police. These vehicles can also be seen on the outside of color or markings. Especially in light vehicles, additional strips with a red or orange fluorescent paint for better visibility are often attached.

Civil strips also take emergency vehicles, but which are identified as such only in the effort, too.

This is especially true at doctors in rural areas where other rescue organizations have a long driveway, but for example also in private practice midwives and veterinarians. While the drivers of these vehicles enjoy the civil legal advantages in question use the drive, but not, for example, motor vehicle tax exemption.

Also in the approval certificate is here not the usual designation as trucks or automobiles.
