Emerson Moisés Costa

Emerson Moisés Costa ( born April 12, 1972 in Rio de Janeiro ), short Emerson, is a Brazilian footballer. The midfielder played for the Cypriot first division club APOEL Nicosia.

His career began in the running strong players in Flamengo Rio de Janeiro in his hometown, where he joined a few years after its launch to Coritiba. From here he went in 1992 to Belenenses Lisbon to Portugal. With good performances he was also reflected in the larger clubs in the country a name and in 1994 was committed by the giants FC Porto. Under the English coach Bobby Robson Emerson took two consecutive Portuguese league titles and the 1996 Super Cup in Portugal.
