Emery County, Utah

Emery County is a county located in the state of Utah in the United States. Emery County in 2010 had 10,976 inhabitants. The administrative headquarters ( County Seat) is Castle Dale.

History

Emery County was named after Governor George W. Emery, governor of the Utah Territory (1875 ).

Geography

Emery County covers an area of ​​11,555 square kilometers; of which 25 square kilometers of water. The largest city is Huntington. The county is bordered clockwise to the County Carbon County, Grand County, Wayne County, Sevier County and Sanpete County.
