Emi Maria

Emi Maria ( autograph: EMI MARIA ) (Japaneseエミ·マリア) ( born June 9, 1987 in Papua New Guinea ) is a Japanese R & B singer and songwriter.

Life and career

Mary was born in Papua New Guinea, where her father is; her mother is Japanese is. The first five years of her life she spent in Papua New Guinea, then she moved to Kobe, located in Japan with her family.

The first time heard Emi R & B at the age of six years by her sister, who had enjoyed listening to artists such as Janet Jackson, Michael Jackson and Joel Hailey. Inspired by this, she started at an early age in school to write their own songs. In the later school, she began to produce their first music also. In 2006 she took part in the MTV Star Tour and has appeared in the Kinki region. A year later, she got more and more collaboration offers and was vocally present on different albums Japanese urban artists.

On 24 October 2007 she released her first extended play, under the name Between the Music and founded the same time, for themselves, their own music label, which she has called Freest Inc.. Their first single, I Gotta ( Summer Kiss), followed in August 2008.

But by the setbacks, she signed a recording contract with Victor Entertainment, where she released her digital single One Way Love. Their first single Show Me Your Love, with the new record company, in CD format, Emi published in 2010. Subsequently, they also released their second studio album, which she had called Contrast.

On April 7, 2012 Emi announced to Mary that she was pregnant and was going to marry with the rapper Seeda.
