Emil Andres
Emil Andres ( born July 22, 1911 in Tinley Park, Illinois, † July 20, 1999 in South Holland, Illinois) was an American race car driver.
Andres career spanned the 1930s and 1940s in which he mostly in Midget car racing was driving, but also regularly stood in the 500 miles of Indianapolis at the start. His best result was a fourth place in 1946. Upon his career, he took care of the Indy 500 Oldtimer Association, whose honorary president he was. Since 1968 he was an official of the USAC and operate alongside a farm.
