Emil Galimov

Emil Galimov Gabdelnurowitsch (Russian Эмиль Габдельнурович Галимов; born May 9, 1992 Nizhnekamsk ) is a Russian ice hockey player standing since November 2011 with Lokomotiv Yaroslavl in the Kontinental Hockey League contract.

Career

Emil Galimov began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the junior department of Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk, for its junior team reactor Nizhnekamsk he is active in the multinational junior league Molodjoschnaja Chokkeinaja League since the 2009/10 season. In the season 2010/11, the attacker was also his debut for the first team of Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk in the Kontinental Hockey League. In his rookie year in 19 games he scored a goal and an assist each. Also in the 2011/12 season he plays in parallel for Neftekhimik in the KHL and reactor in the MHL.

In November 2011, Galimov moved to Lokomotiv Yaroslavl in the Wysschaja Hockey League, but also played for the junior team in the Loko MHL.

In the NHL Entry Draft 2013 Galimov was selected in the seventh round in a total of 207 position of the San Jose Sharks.

Internationally

For Russia Galimov took part in the Under-18 Junior World Cup in 2010. During the tournament he scored two goals in seven games and a template.
