Emil Hossu

Emil Hossu (* November 24, 1941 in Ocna Sibiului, Sibiu county, † January 25, 2012 in Bucharest ) was a Romanian actor.

Life

Once as a result of the Second Vienna Award Northern Transylvania became part of Hungary, moved family Hossu to Cluj. Since his father worked for the government Ion Antonescu was active, he was taken with his family in August 1945 to a camp in Germany, where they had to stay for a year and three months. After the family returned to Romania - their property was confiscated, however. 1948 Hossus father for forced labor on the Danube - Black Sea Canal was committed; soon after he died, so that Emil Hossu the age of 17 he lost his father.

Emil Hossu visited the State Drama School and received first roles in radio plays; later, he appeared in numerous films; he was a member in Nottara Theatre in Bucharest.

Hossu was married to his colleague Catrinel Dumitrescu, the couple lived in Bucharest.
