Emil Lundberg

Emil Lundberg ( born January 11, 1982 in Luleå ) is a Swedish professional ice hockey player who was most recently at the Kloten Flyers in the National League A under contract.

Career

Emil Lundberg began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the junior department of the Luleå HF, for the first team he held until 2006, was active from 2000 in the Elitserien, the highest Swedish league. Subsequently, the winger played each a year for Jokerit Lappeenranta and HPK Hämeenlinna in the Finnish SM- liiga, before he returned late in the season 2007/ 08 at his home club Luleå HF, for which he in another two seasons in the Elitserien on the ice stood.

For the 2010/11 season signed a contract with the Lundberg HK Poprad of the Slovak Extraliga. With his club he was at first runner-up. For the following season, he was obliged by its neighbors HC Lev Poprad city of the Kontinental Hockey League.

For the season 2012/2013 the then 30 -year-old spent a year with the Kloten Flyers. In the summer of 2013, he completed a trial with KHL rookie KHL Medveščak Zagreb, but received no contract.
