Emily's List (English original Emily's Reasons Why Not ) is an American comedy series of the American Networks ABC, which was discontinued in 2006 after only one episode broadcast again. The series is based on the 2004 book Emily's Reason 's Why Not by Carrie Gerlach.

Action

The plot of the seven episodes revolves around the author Emily Sanders ( Heather Graham). After numerous problems with men and the last affair of her friend Reese ( Mark Valley ) decides Emily, abzuservieren all future friends, once it has found five errors in them. For this purpose, it provides pro and con lists for each friend.

Broadcast

Due to the extremely poor rates (6.2 million viewers ) presented the ABC series after the pilot episode one, the remaining episodes were never shown. ORF 1 showed all seven episodes of the series and began to broadcast on September 4, 2007. Doing so, he achieved better results than in the U.S., the first episode had a market share of less than 18 percent.
