Emily Procter
Emily Mallory Procter ( born October 8, 1968 in Raleigh, North Carolina ) is an American actress.
Life and career
Procter was born in Raleigh and also grew up. She was two years old when her parents divorced William ( General Practitioner ) and Barbara. Even as she received her degree in journalism and dance at East Carolina University, she worked as a weather girl on channel WNTC in Greenville.
After moving to Los Angeles Procter's father has assumed the costs for drama school for two years. Even before she graduated, she has already played roles in movies like Leaving Las Vegas and Jerry Maguire. In 1998 she got her first starring role in the American television movie Breast Man, which also starred David Schwimmer and Chris Cooper.
Furthermore, Procter was seen two years at irregular intervals in the award-winning U.S. series The West Wing as Ainsley Hayes. My breakthrough came with her role as Calleigh Duquesne in the television series CSI: Miami, which runs since 2002 on U.S. television. On German television series first ran successfully at the television station VOX and since April 2005 at the RTL.
Emily Procter was on 8 December 2010 for the first time mother of a daughter. In an interview, she spoke very openly about this in order for those new experience, and other personal details from her own life, among other things, on the fact that she was an adopted child.
