Emir Kujović

Emir Kujović ( born June 22, 1988 in Bijelo Polje ) is a Swedish footballer of Bosnia and Herzegovina descent. His brother Ajsel is also football player and ran several times for the Swedish U-21 selection.

Career

Emir Kujović was born in and had to flee from his home after the outbreak of war in former Yugoslavia. They received asylum in Sweden. Here Kujović began with the club football in the youth of Klippans BoIF and moved to the youth of Landskrona BoIS later. He was a professional football player in the summer of 2006 and played three games before the winter break for the professional team.

During the winter break, he then moved to Halmstad BK. In Halmstad BK he was loaned equal to the end of the season at Falkenberg FF. For the season 2007/ 08 he returned to Halmstad back and here belonged henceforth to the circle of regularly coming to use player

For spring 2011, he moved to Turkey for Süper Lig club Kayserispor. Here he immediately became a regular player. Having presented at Kayserispor Robert Prosinečki as the new coach, Kujović came under new coach to ever fewer inserts and was finally put on the sales list for the winter transfer window 2012/13.

For the second half of the season 2012/13 changed Kujović within the Süper Lig to Sanica Boru Elazığspor. In the summer of 2013 he left this club again.

National

Emir Kujović played until 2010, four times for the Swedish U- 21 team.
