Emma Chambers

Emma Chambers ( born March 11, 1964 in Westcliff- on-Sea, England) is a British actress.

Chambers first played in the TV movie The Rainbow (1988 ) and in some television series such as Martin Chuzzlewit (1994, alongside Pete Postlethwaite ) and How Do You Want Me? (1998 to 1999). During this time she also played several theater roles. For her role in the series The Vicar of Dibley (since 1994), she won the 1998 British Comedy Award. Internationally known she made the role of the sister of William Thacker ( Hugh Grant), Honey, in the film Notting Hill ( 1999). For this role she was nominated as Best Supporting Actress for the Blockbuster Entertainment Award.

They played a major role alongside Nigel Hawthorne and Joan Collins in the comedy The Clandestine Marriage ( 1999). In 2005 she appeared alongside numerous stars such as Rowan Atkinson, David Bowie, Eric Clapton, John Cleese and Robbie Williams in the TV show Comic Relief: Red Nose Night Live on 05. In the animated film The Wind in the Willows (1995 ) she spoke alongside Michael Palin and Vanessa Redgrave. Her voice was also in the animated series Pond Life (1998 to 2000) and Little Robots ( since 2003) to hear.
