Emma Huismans
Emma Huismans (* July 10, 1947 in Bennekom, Netherlands) is a South African writer, journalist and political activist.
At the age of five years, the family emigrated to South Africa and Emma learned the language Afrikaans. As an adult she was a reporter for Crisis News. They fought for the end of apartheid, which was complicated not only by their white skin color, but also by her coming out as a lesbian.
