Emma Marrone
Emma Marrone ( born May 25, 1984 in Florence, as an artist name simply Emma; actually Emmanuela Marrone ) is an Italian pop singer and talent show winner.
Career
Marrone won 2010 the ninth season of the talent show Amici di Maria De Filippi. The singer, who lives in Aradeo of southeast Italy, shortly after the success of her debut album released Oltre, which included seven titles. Both the album and the debut single Calore were number-one hits in Italy and in the Italian speaking part of Switzerland successfully. The album reached double platinum in Italy. When Sanremo Festival 2011 Marrone scored in a duet with the group Modà and the song Arriverà second place. The following year they finally won the festival with the song Non è l' inferno. The song then reached # 1 on the charts.
Marrone was chosen internally by the RAI to represent Italy at the Euro Vision Song Contest 2014 in Copenhagen.
