Emma Moffatt

Emma Moffatt ( born September 7, 1984 in Moree, New South Wales) is an Australian triathlete and World Champion Olympic distance (2009 and 2010).

Career

Emma Moffatt started out with 13 years in their first triathlon. At the 2008 Beijing Olympics, she was able to win the third place for Australia behind her compatriot and champion Emma Snowsill.

In 2009, she Triathlon World Champion Olympic distance ( 1500m swim, 40 km bike and 10 km run ). Emma Moffatt was appointed in their home country by the Australian Institute of Sport Athlete of the Year 2009.

In 2010, Moffatt defend her title from the previous year and was again Triathlon World Champion on the short distance. In 2011 she finished seventh at the ITU World Cup.

The Australian Triathlon Federation nominated Moffatt for a place at the 2012 Olympic Games in London, along with Emma Jackson and Erin Densham.

2013 she won the " Grand Final" in London in September to third place and thus was sixth in the annual ranking of the ITU World Championship Series.
