Emmerson Boyce (2009)

Emmerson Boyce Orlando (* September 24, 1979 in Aylesbury ) is an English- Barbadian football player who is active for Wigan Athletic in the Premier League and for the national football team of Barbados.

Career

Boyce began his career in 1998 at Luton Town, where he completed 185 games in 2004 and scored eight goals. In 2004 he moved to Crystal Palace and played until 2006 69 times for the club. He was elected by the fans of the club player of the season 2006. Finally, he signed in the summer of 2006 a four-year contract with Wigan Athletic.

In addition to his activities in England Emmerson Boyce plays for the national team of Barbados, since his parents were born in Barbados. On 20 March 2008 he was nominated for the first time, but not used. On March 26 against Dominica he finally played his first international match.
