Emperor Ai of Tang

Emperor Ai of Tang (唐 哀帝Chinese, Pinyin Táng àì Dì ), birth name lǐ Zhu (Chinese李 祝, * 892, † 908), was the last emperor of the Tang Dynasty of China.

He ascended the throne at the age of 13 years, after the Regent Zhu Wen had murdered his father Zhaozong. After three years of shadow government began the reign of the Emperor in a coup and proclaimed from the ( Later ) Liang Dynasty, with which began the period of the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms.
