Emperor Ankan

Ankan (Japanese安闲 天皇, Ankan - tennō; * 466, † 15 January 536) was the 27th Tenno of Japan ( 531-536 ). He was the first son of Emperor Keitais. He had no son.

After the death of his father he ascended, with 66 years, the throne. From his reign no significant incidents have survived.
